THE CHARACTER ASSASSINATION OF MICHAEL JACKSON

I'M BETTER OFF DEAD, I'M DONE:
Michael Jackson's fateful prediction just a week before his death
By Ian Halperin 3:58 PM on 29th June 2009

Thank you for your love and support,’ he told them.
‘I want you guys to know I love you very much.
'I don’t know how I’m going to do 50 shows.

I’m not a big eater. I need to put some weight on.
I’m really angry with them booking me up to do
50 shows. I only wanted to do ten.’

One of his former employees was particularly struck by
Jackson’s wording that day. ‘The way he was talking,
it’s like he’s not in control over his own life any more,’
she told me earlier this month.

‘It sounds like somebody else is pulling his strings
and telling him what to do.

Someone wants him dead.
'They keep feeding him pills like candy.
They are trying to push him over the edge.
He needs serious help.
The people around him will kill him.’

As the London concerts approached, something was
clearly wrong. Jackson had vowed to travel to England
at least eight weeks before his first shows, but he kept
putting it off. ‘To be honest, I never thought Michael
would set foot on a concert stage ever again,’said one aide, choking back tears on the evening of his death ".

‘This was not only predictable, this was inevitable.’

On June 21, Jackson told my contact that he wanted
to die. He said that he didn’t have what it would take
to perform anymore because he had lost his voice
and dance moves.

‘It’s not working out,’ Jackson said. ‘I’m better off dead.
I don’t have anywhere left to turn. I’m done.’

WE ALL WANT A PEICE OF MICHAEL

We cannot control him, -although the media crucified him while everyone sat back and watched.

The media jumped the gun and he called their bluff dealt there hand; now its his play as we sit back and watch...

Everyone's motive, everyone's true intentions Its all unfolding right before are very eyes...

He is not going to go away so soon..The story is not over

Next week as we witnesses' the Trial of Conrad Murray The media and protestors will be there in numbers with there cameras and trucks, books and scripts...
Set up waiting and do they have a story to sell you
even before Murray is tried everyone is convicting him

Sounds like we have seen this before...
Is History repeating itself...

Here we are right in the midst of Holy week
May God help us all.

Just three weeks into the job, L.A.'s head crime-fighter,
Bill Bratton, is already making his mark on the party circuit,
moving from one fete to another where, it seems, everyone
is eager to win him over. In fact, the invites are so plentiful,
he said, "I actually lose track of the functions."

It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it.

On Thursday night at the Fulfillment Fund gala, hosted by
News Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch and held on a
glamorously draped 20th Century Fox soundstage, Bratton
sat in the golden circle of billionaires. Haim Saban was just
behind him, Marvin and Barbara Davis at a table to his left.

LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES

Although they did not immediately suspect foul play, by the day
after Jackson's death the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD)
began to investigate the unusual and high-profile case.[34]

By August 28, the LAPD had announced that the case would
be referred to prosecutors who might file criminal charges.[6]
Because the LAPD did not secure Jackson's home, and allowed
the Jackson family access to it, before returning to remove certain
items, the department raised concerns by some observers that the
chain of custody had been broken.[35][36]

Bratton will step down as chief of the LAPD to take a position
with a private international security firm. The firm, called "Altegrity,"
is a global screening and security solutions company headquartered
in Falls Church, Virginia. Bratton will reportedly become CEO of a
new division where he will consult on security for police departments
worldwide.

An independent probe is needed into the relationship between
the departing police chief and LAPD monitor Michael Cherkasky,
who will soon be Bratton’s boss.

THE JACKSON STAKE IN SONY/ATV " IS NOT FOR SALE " JOHN BRANCA

The whole thing centered on Tommy Mottola
setting him up," Novel told me.

"Mottola and him were at odds, and Jackson's
information was that Mottola and Malnik got
together to fu*k him. He said he believed
Malnik was representing the Mob."

JOHN BRANCA

Will these words come back to haunt John Branca.

If it is true that Mottola, along with others worked
to set up Jackson to bring him down, would they go as far as cohearsing w/ those closest to Michael, even those now running the MJ estate?

Do you think that could happen?? Well it's happening.

WHY DID BRANCA NOT TAKE HEED TO JACKSON'S REQUEST HE WAS DEMANDED TO RESIGN OF HIS DUTIES BY MICHAEL JACKSON BACK IN 2003.

Michael Jackson Terminated John Branca because of Embezzlement. In 2003, Michael Jackson launched an investigation into Branca’s embezzlement activities regarding Micheal Jackson’s money.

The investigators, the firm of Interfor in New York,
reported in February, March, and with a final report on
April 15, 2003, there was an improper relationship between
Tommy Mattola and John Branca whereby Branca and Matolla
were illegally funneling Michael Jackson’s money to off-shore
accounts in the Caribbean. (Exhibit “B”).

SO JUST HOW DID SONY BUY INTO THE ATV CATALOG?
THERE SEEMS TO BE MIXED REPORTS OF THIS.
THE SONY/ATV MUSIC PUBLISHING CATALO G

JACKSON ASSETS DRAW THE GAZE OF WALL STREET
By ANDREW ROSS SORKIN and MICHAEL J. de la MERCED
Published: July 19, 2009 from the NYT

Howard Stringer, top, Sony’s chief, and Thomas J.
Barrack Jr., the head of Colony Capital, had deals
with Michael Jackson.

A handful of major financial firms have made
inquiries into buying the Jackson estate’s
50 percent share of Sony/ATV Music Publishing,
the company that controls most of the Beatles
song catalog, according to people briefed on
the matter. Among them are Colony Capital,
Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, Plainfield Asset
Management and the media mogul Haim Saban,
these people said.

Sony/ATV is by far the most valuable asset in
Mr. Jackson’s estate, and his 50 percent stake
could be worth as much a $500 million. Mr. Jackson
bought the majority of the Beatles catalog in 1985
for $47.5 million, after an informal chat with Paul McCartney about the wisdom of buying song catalogs.

Since then, Sony/ATV -formed from a 1995 partnership
with Sony — has bought up the rights to thousands of
songs from artists, including Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell,
Beck and Taylor Swift. In recent years, it made a big
push into TV production, helping to balance out its
radio business.

“Sony/ATV’s really started to gain greater value in
recent years,” said Barry Massarsky, a music industry
consultant who has done work for Sony/ATV and its rivals.
“I’m very bullish on its prospects.”

John G. Branca, the entertainment lawyer who structured
Mr. Jackson’s initial purchase of the Beatles catalog
and is now one of two executors of his estate, declined
to comment by e-mail on Sunday, saying only that the
Jackson stake in Sony/ATV “is not for sale.”

Mr. Branca and John McClain, a music executive,
will make decisions about the estate, pending
confirmation at an Aug. 3 court hearing in Los Angeles.

Still, that has not stopped financiers from
approaching Jackson family members and Sony,
people briefed on the discussions said. Some of these firms already have a connection to the Jackson family.

Colony, for instance, is a co-owner of the Neverland ranch Jackson’s former home. The firm’s chairman and chief executive, Thomas J. Barrack Jr., has contacted representatives of the family, these people said. Plainfield, which lent money to Mijac, an entity that owns Mr. Jackson’s own songs as well as those from the likes of Sly and the Family Stone, contacted the family, these people said. (Mijac has an estimated of $50 million to $100 million and is likely to grow with the pickup in album sales since his death.)

Mr. Jackson nearly lost his stake in Sony/ATV —
and his family’s fortune — in 2006. He was days
away from filing for bankruptcy when Howard Stringer, the chief executive of Sony, dispatched his chief financial officer, Robert Wiesenthal, to Dubai to broker a last-minute lifeline for Mr. Jackson. Mr. Jackson was living in the emirate at the time and quickly spending cash.

“His finances were in complete shambles,”
said Duross O’Bryan, a forensic accountant at
the consulting firm Alix Partners who served
as an expert witness at Mr. Jackson’s 2005
child molestation trial. “There were serious
issues with regards to his ability to meet
debt when it comes due.”

The deal, negotiated in Mr. Jackson’s suite
at the Burj Al Arab hotel, saved the singer
from bankruptcy. In return, Sony took greater
operational control of Sony/ATV and received
an option to buy half of Mr. Jackson’s share.

Despite earning hundreds of millions of dollars
over his lifetime, Mr. Jackson was well known for
having a mountain of debt, born of expensive
indulgences like the sprawling Neverland estate,
costly music and tour productions and art and
antiques buying sprees.

The estate still carries $400 million to $500
million in debt. Barclays holds about $300 million
of debt against the Jackson estate’s stake in Sony/ATV.

Sony, the One and Only:

But how did it come to be called "Sony/ATV Music Publishing"? Indeed, how exactly did Sony enter the picture? Actually, insofar as the details are concerned there's more than one version as to what happened.

So with that said who is it that isn't happy with this deal??

Now that they have tied the knot with Sony once again many questions arise as to what John Branca's real motivation is.

Michael despised Sony and was thrilled to be out of his deal He worked to keep himself clear of Mottola and all that he stood for and looked to gain from Michael Jackson...

So what is the real motivation behind Branca for the new deal that was just inked Branca has now positioned himself one step closer to achieving his goal... which is to take all in the Michael Jackson estate....

WHY ARE WE GETTING THE CONTINUED RUN AROUND ,IS THERE SOMETHING MORE..SO MANY SECRET'S ON THE OTHER END THAT COULD UTTERLY DETROY AND ARE BEING HELD OVER EVERYONE'S HEAD HERE???

IF SO, IT MUST BE TRUE THAT PELLICANO'S GREATEST STRENGTH IS GETTING PEOPLE NOT TO TALK?? IS HE GETTING READY TO TELL ALL?

there were no other photographers there when these
paintings came out.
TMZ had already left hours earlier. Christopher Weiss

I was the only one present taking pictures when these
belongings of Michael Jackson came out and were put
into the truck. Alot of big moving that day.

Weiss had been there earlier but fled away
when the limo left It came from the backside of
Carolwood making the grand turn onto the frontside
where i was at the time, and he was gone..just like that.

It all went down like clockwork ...

That day is just like yesterday to me

This will be one of the paintings that is set to auction
at Juliens if this sale doesn't get halted. I along with
others are going to do everything in our power to see

This would be the wishes of Michael Jackson.
Who ordered this??

I have more pictures, whoever is looking and can help
I have spoken with those who i need to speak with

Joe Jackson needs to see this.

These are the things Joe was talking about.
He made an official statement that can be found
below. These items that are selling at Juliens have
been stolen right out from under the family and Michael.

They will take all.... in the Michael Jackson Estate.
They cannot get away with this.

Michael would have not wanted this to happen
How can this take place right out from under us
There were a number of paintings that were
brought out that day and put onto this truck.
This was the largest. It took 6 men to carry.

First you betray him then you go to
sell his most personal prized possessions!!!

Back during the trials when he needed money
he was told that he could sell some of his
personal possessions to acquire that,
apparently paintings were mentioned to him.

THIS IS WHAT HE SAID ABOUT THAT...

THE INDUSTRY WANTED MICHAEL JACKSON LIVE (PART 2)

"THE INDUSTRY WANTED MICHAEL JACKSON LIVE
WE WANTED MICHAEL JACKSON ALIVE.

NOW WE WANT THE TRUTH!"

A couple of weeks before he passed,
we saw [Jackson] change drastically,"
says Talin Shajanian, a devoted fan
who used to wait outside of the rehearsal
venue in L.A. where Jackson was preparing
for his London gig.

"He shared this with us,the pressure that
he felt, the concerns that he had."

The Web site goes on to claim that the
film's director, Kenny Ortega, had to
cut the singer's food and was forced
to feed him because Jackson was too
weak to feed himself. It also states
that on days Jackson did not show up
for work because he was not feeling well
, his choreographer picked him up at home
and forced him to attend rehearsals.

Sony, which is distributing the film,
has released a statement saying,

"We believe his fans will be grateful
for the rare opportunity to see Michael's
creativity in action as he prepared and
rehearsed for his London concerts."

ANTHONY PELLICANO: MICHAEL JACKSON'S INNOCENCE

IS THAT ALL ABOUT TO CHANGE??
WAS MICHAEL JACKSON FRAMED?

STOP TAPE .32 MICHAEL JACKSON'S INNOCENCE
Anthony Pellicano 95 claims it was all set up,
" It was a failed Extortion Attempt ".

THE UNTOLD STORY. By Mary A. Fisher GQ, October 1994
(portions of interview)
On November 23, the friction peaked. Based on information he
says he got from Weitzman, Fields told a courtroom full
of reporters that a criminal indictment against Jackson
seemed imminent. Fields had a reason for making the statement:
He was trying to delay the boy's civil suit by establishing
that there was an impending criminal case that should be tried
first. Outside the courtroom, reporters asked why Fields had
made the announcement, to which Weitzman replied essentially
that Fields "misspoke himself." The comment infuriated Fields,
"because it wasn't true," he says. "It was just an outrage.
I was very upset with Howard."

Fields sent a letter of resignation to Jackson the
following week."There was this vast group of people
all wanting to do a differentthing, and it was like
moving through molasses to get a decision,"says Fields.
"It was a nightmare, and I wanted to get the hell out of it."
Pellicano, who had received his share of flak for his
aggressive manner, resigned at the same time.
With Fields and Pellicano gone, Weitzman brought in
Johnnie Cochran Jr., a well-known civil attorney who
is now helping defend O.J.Simpson. And John Branca,
whom Fields had replaced as Jackson's general counsel
in 1990, was back on board.

Pellicano's words:
The Federal government has purposely tried to make
this thing larger than life — like a Hollywood movie.

To me, these are the acts of overzealous FBI agent
and prosecutors who have never really accomplished
anything in their careers. They are trying to use my
name and reputation to build something better for
themselves.

I think they had it in their minds that this is
some big case where I’m purportedly wiretapping
all kinds of celebrities
and there are all these tapes.
By the way, where are all these recordings
that they are talking about?
The government said they have a bunch.
But they have never provided them to us in discovery.
And they never will. Because they don’t exist!!

HOW GOOD IS PELLICANO?

L.A. Confidential : People.com

December 08, 2003:
By Thomas Fields-Meyer

"I am not a rat, and I don't rat on a client,"
Pellicano told PEOPLE. "I am a stand-up guy."

His big break came in 1983, when attorney Howard
Weitzman recruited him to Los Angeles, where Pellicano
successfully dissected key recordings and helped undermine
prosecution witnesses to win automaker John DeLorean's
acquittal on drug-selling charges.

Stars soon came knocking. Michael Jackson enlisted
him to combat allegations that he had molested a
young boy in 1993.

"Celebrities hire him because they have the money
to get the best," says Ed Masry, the lawyer who
worked with Erin Brockovich and a former client of
Pellicano's who was also interviewed by the FBI.
"And he is very good." Whether he's good enough
to fend off the latest investigation remains to be seen.
He headed to prison with his usual bravado, even
getting married in Las Vegas—to Teresa DeLucio,
42, a night-club bartender-two days beforehand

"I'm going to jail with the attitude that I'm going
to further educate myself," he told the Los Angeles
Times. "And I hope to come out smarter than when
I went in."

This being Hollywood, he also has a few projects to
keep him busy in his cell. Top of the list?

A screenplay about the life of a private eye.
L.A. Confidential : People.com
Co-prosecutor Dale Saunders explained that the
government has been hindered in producing this
evidence by the sophistication of Pellicano's encryption
system.

Saunders then glanced at Pellicano seated at the defense
table. If the defense was "so desperate to get those files,"
Saunders said, "the man with the password is sitting
right there." Pellicano grinned.

JOCKEYING FOR POSITION...WHO WILL CONTROL THE MUSIC BUSINESS

COULD IT BE MICHAEL JACKSON

CNN: LONDON, ENGLAND JUNE 26, 09
MJHOAXLIVE: CNN: LONDON, ENGLAND JUNE 26, 09

FANS PROMOTERS COUNT COST
OF CANCELED JACKSON CONCERTS
By Hilary Whiteman

(midway though article)
Back in March, tickets for an initial run of ten concerts
sold out at the astonishing rate of 11 tickets per second,
a feat Chris Edmonds, the Managing Director of Ticketmaster
UK called a "live entertainment phenomenon."

Demand for the tickets prompted organizers to add another
40 dates to the schedule. The London shows were to be the
first step in a multi-phase package with Jackson, including
plans for a 3-D live concert film and a 3-D movie based on
Jackson's "Thriller" music video.

It's not known at this stage how much of the cost of
Jackson's canceled concerts will be shouldered by
promoters AEG Live. The company is yet to issue
a statement on the matter. It is thought only part
of Jackson's 50-date London engagement was covered
by insurers. One of those was Lloyds of London, whose
spokesman Louise Shields told CNN "any losses are not
likely to be significant."

I feel this is important to go back and take a look at certain
events so we can clearly see some of the recent developments
that are now taking place and better understand them.

IRVING AZOFF/RANDY PHILLIPS
A RELATIONSHIP THAT GOES BACK
WAY BACK TO THE EARLY DAYS OF MCA
HOWARD WEITZMAN WOULD EVEN
GRACE HIS PRESENCE THERE...
THE INFAMOUS DAYS OF MCA

Hollywood is a small town folks
This business of music will chew you up
Spit you out and sell you down the river...

Even if they like you ...

MICHAEL JACKSON WENT TO BED
THINKING HE WAS DOING 10 SHOWS
WAKING UP HAVING TO DO 50.

But you’ve got to look back further...to AEG.

Irving Azoff built AEG. By resuscitating ConcertsWest.
Eventually Irving sold his interest to Anschutz,
Randy Phillips was handed the keys, took the
day to day reins, and Irving’s got a special place in
their board room..

LOS ANGELES -- Two days before the Grammy
Awards, Randy Phillips sits in his office and fields
phone calls. The awards show is taking place in the
Staples Center, owned by his parent company, AEG
Worldwide, and Phillips is putting out last minute fires.

The biggest challenge is yet to come.
THE GIANTS ARE ALL LINING UP AGAINST HIM

If the rumored merger between competitor Live Nation
(nyse: LYV - news - people ) and Ticketmaster takes
place, Phillips will have to compete in a markedly different
environment.
As the head of AEG Live, Phillips manages a division that
grossed over $1 billion last year by putting on acts from Bon
Jovi to the Jonas Brothers. Ticketmaster, which could soon
be a competitor, sold most of the tickets to those shows.
Understand Ticketmaster UK was the one to sell
Tickets in the UK for Michael Jackson O2 LONDON
until things took a sudden turn June 25.

One of the last things Michael Jackson stated to Randy
Phillips there at rehersals June 24th, 2009 according to
Randy was :

" Thank you for getting me this far I can take it from here"
AND THAT WAS IT...MICHAEL JACKSON WAS GONE...

“The most powerful and influential entity the music
business has ever known.”
That’s Billboard’s Ray Waddell, who knows what he’s
talking about, describing the merger.

THE MERGER: TICKETMASTER AND LIVE NATION
DOES THIS LEAVE AEG OUT ON IT'S OWN
The two biggest names in the concert business are
about to become one gigantic one. The U.S. Justice
Department on Monday approved the merger of
ticketing giant
creating a live entertainment conglomerate the likes of
which has never been seen before in the music industry.

hypebot: Live & Touring
There’s been conflicting reports about who will ultimately
be in charge; says Waddell, who, again, may be speaking
with authority: Most reports say this would be a merger
of equals, but the New York Post reports that Ticketmaster
investors would receive about 18% more shares since Live
Nation has a larger shareholder base.

Sources tell Billboard that Front Line founder/Ticketmaster
Entertainment CEO Irving Azoff would be in charge, with
Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino reporting to him.

With the proposed $2.5 billion merger between TicketMaster
and Live Nation looming large, many venue owners and prom
others are up in arms, deeming the deal anti-competitive and
monopolistic (they may be right - the deal is being examined
for possible anti-trust violations).
———–
The head of AEG, Live Nation’s main competitor,
blasts the merger in a chat with Billboard’s Ray Waddell:
[Anschutz Entertainment Group president/CEO Tim]
Leiweke pointed out that Live Nation produces two-thirds
of concerts held at the country’s top 50 arenas and top 50
amphitheaters, and that Ticketmaster accounts for 94% of
the ticketing. “This merger won’t create a new idea on how
to sell more tickets,” he said. “It’s all about the bottom line.”
And Front Line Has it...
Forbes: Live Nation spent over $200 million signing
artists like Jay-Z and Madonna to so-called 360 deals.

A single entity running the entire process – from signing up
the talent, to staging of the concerts and selling the tickets –
would stifle competition. This would work against the fans
in the longer term, no matter what innovations were on
offer initially. Asked if there was a potential conflict of
interest when the management company is trying to get
the best concert deal out of the promoter and both are
under one corporate umbrella, both Azoff and Rapino
said no.
“We run a very decentralized operation [at Front Line],
our managers make those decisions with their artists, the
artist has the final decision. And every artist has an
individual manager at Front Line, plus their agent, plus
their business manager, plus their lawyer,” Azoff said.
Rapino concurs that Front Line would put the artist’s
interests first, citing the credibility and track record of
Front Line managers such as Azoff, Simon Renshaw
and Howard Kaufman.

" This merger will create a pipeline for all rights holders
to reach their consumers, whether it is our team, an artist
or a record company. It is time that our business delivered
forward thinking marketing solutions and we intend to do
just that."- from Tuesday's investor conference call.

We are, at heart, a real estate company. Staples Center
was a real estate play. We realized early on that we can’t
have a third party like a Live Nation holding a gun to our
'head in terms of programming our buildings. That was the
genesis of AEG Live, so that we could have control over the
programming of our buildings.- Randy Phillips

The merger could also explain rumors that Randy Phillips
may be leaving his post as head of concert rival AEG since
the giants are all lining up against him.

PRESIDENT OF AEG SPEAKS OUT " THIS IS IT "

FIRST PUBLISHED: September 25, 2009 8:52 AM EDT

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
As dozens of buoyant Michael Jackson fans queued
up in the Nokia Plaza to be among the first to see
their idol’s last performance, others watching the
scene expressed mixed emotions.

Tim Leiweke, president of AEG, which bankrolled Jackson’s
“This is It” tour and is a key player in the film, recalled
the moment he got the news of Jackson’s death.

“Well, at first it lets all the air out of you, and you sit
here and you’re stunned at how quickly it happened and occurred.
You’re in denial. You can’t believe it. You’re looking around,
saying, ‘What happened?”

Zip ahead some three months, to Thursday afternoon —
about an hour before the opening of the nearly two-and-a-half
day waiting line for advance tickets to “Michael Jackson’s
‘This is It’” concert documentary. Leiweke reunited with
musicians, singers and dancers from the tour in a press
conference held in the plaza, which is just directly across
the street from the Staples Center, the site of Jackson’s
rehearsals, the last of which taking place just hours before
his death June 25.

“It’s mixed feelings, first of all, to see these guys again,
and to be in this space,” noted singer Darryl Phinnessee.
“You know, we finished rehearsing at quarter to midnight
the night before Michael died, and he was energetic and up
and doing his thing, as you’ll see in the movie.”

Leiweke said the movie also will provide proof that
AEG had Jackson’s well-being in mind.

“I think we still are hurt,” Leiweke explained.
“Some of the things that people have said about us,
which are so untrue, this movie’s going to restore
his legacy, and prove that we, in fact, gave Michael
a second chance here. And an opportunity to make the
kind of comeback here was dreaming of. And that we
created an environment for him that was probably the
best environment that the guy had the last 10 or 15
years of his life. And I’m very proud of the way we
treated Michael, and very proud of the partnership
that we had with him. And this movie is an opportunity
to celebrate that, and we could get past all of the
gossip and all of the innuendo.”

“This is It” is set to open in cinemas worldwide Oct. 28.
