CNN: LONDON, ENGLAND JUNE 26, 09
OF CANCELED JACKSON CONCERTS
By Hilary Whiteman
(midway though article)
Back in March, tickets for an initial run of ten concerts
sold out at the astonishing rate of 11 tickets per second,
a feat Chris Edmonds, the Managing Director of Ticketmaster
UK called a "live entertainment phenomenon."
Demand for the tickets prompted organizers to add another
40 dates to the schedule. The London shows were to be the
first step in a multi-phase package with Jackson, including
plans for a 3-D live concert film and a 3-D movie based on
Jackson's "Thriller" music video.
It's not known at this stage how much of the cost of
Jackson's canceled concerts will be shouldered by
promoters AEG Live. The company is yet to issue
a statement on the matter. It is thought only part
of Jackson's 50-date London engagement was covered
by insurers. One of those was Lloyds of London, whose
spokesman Louise Shields told CNN "any losses are not
likely to be significant."
Mary Craig Calkins, partner at Howrey law firm in Los
Angeles told CNN it was likely Jackson was covered by
essential element insurance, a common form of cover
in the entertainment industry to guard against losses
associated with the main act.
The policy would normally cover ticket sales and
production-related expenses. "He was hiring dancers
for the production, there's pyrotechnics, there's the
music, there's the equipment, there's the venue, "
Calkins told CNN.
"It's a bigger than life tour so you would expect the
expenses to be huge... You would expect the insurance
company to conduct a very thorough investigation.
It's a lot of money at stake," she said.

BRANCA/MOTTOLLA CONNECTION

I just want to make another point regarding Motolla.
The Offshore account in the Caribbean
"that Mello mentioned" was owned by Branca and Motolla.
Branca was an attorney in Los Angeles
doing music work for Michael.
Branca was a partner at the Ziffren law
firm in LA. That firm also represented Sony.
Sony paid money into the offshore account
for Branca with the intent for Branca to
sell out Michael. Bear in mind that in this
time period, Michael was in conference
talks with Sony concerning both of their
interests in the catalog.
Here is one question put to LeGrand by Mr Mesereau.
Q: Was it your belief when you started
this investigation that Al Malnik, Tommy Motolla,
John Branca and people at Sony were trying to
find a way to get Mr Jacksons interest in
that Music Catalog.
A: I'm not sure that I would include
Al Malnic in that group, but certainly was
concerned that Branca and Motolla in particular,
had set the stage so to speak, for Sony to be
able to obtain Michaels interest in the Sony/ATV
joint venture.
ROLE OF THE BEATLES' CATALOG IN MICHAEL JACKSON'S HISTORY (PART 1)
ROLE OF BEATLES' CATALOG IN
MICHAEL JACKSON'S HISTORY (PART 1)
Linda Deutsch, chief legal reporter
of Associated Press news agency, wrote:
"In 2002, Jackson launched a public feud with
then-Sony Music chief Tommy Mottola. Jackson,
following poor sales and alleged lack of promotion
of the album "Invincible," accused Mottola of being
a racist, saying he was "mean, he's a racist, and
he's very, very devilish." Several black industry
executives spoke in Mottola's defense and Sony
called his statements "ludicrous spiteful and hurtful."
FROM THE NY TIMES
TIM ARANGO and BEN SISARIO
Published: June 26, 2009
Mr. Jackson’s business life, like his public
life, was a perplexing mass of contradictions.
Unlike many performers, he was a keen negotiator
and shrewd investor — in 1985 he pulled off one
of the great deals in music business history
when he bought the publishing rights to the
Beatles catalog for $47.5million. Today it is
part of a larger collection of songs worth more
than $1 billion, and owned in partnership with Sony.
FROM ABC NEWS By DAN HARRIS
June 28, 2009
"Michael Jackson's investment in the Beatles'
catalog was one of the most brilliant coups
in all of music history,"
Sisario told ABC News. "The story goes that
one day at Paul McCartney's house they were
having dinner and Paul casually mentioned that
the way to make real money in the music business
is through publishing," New York Times music reporter
Ben Sisario told ABC News. "Michael took that to heart".
Alan Light said, "One thing that was speculated was
that Michael kind of knew how much Paul was going to
bid for this and knew what it was going to take to
top that bid."

MJ'S DOME PROJECT/ CULVER STUDIOS
Filmed over a five-week period at Culver Studios
in the first week of June.
From what I hear there were 4 different sets that
were constructed. One set replicated the scenery of a
cemetery. This set replicates the scene for Jackson’s
“Thriller”.

PRESIDENT DECLARES STATE OF EMERGENCY: H1N1 SWINE FLU VIDEO BELOW JANE BURGEIMESTER SPEAKS
FROM THE LA TIMES 24 Oct 2009 US:
Obama declares swine flu
a national emergency
DECLARATION OF A NATIONAL EMERGENCY
WITH RESPECT TO THE 2009 H1N1 INFLUENZA PANDEMIC
- - - - - - -
BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
A PROCLAMATION
On April 26, 2009, the Secretary of Health and
Human Services (the "Secretary") first declared
a public health emergency under section 319 of
the Public Health Service Act, 42 U.S.C. 247d,
in response to the 2009 H1N1 influenza virus.
The Secretary has renewed that declaration twice,
on July 24, 2009, and....
...October 1, 2009. In addition, by rapidly
identifying the virus, implementing public
health measures, providing guidance for health
professionals and the general public, and developing
an effective vaccine, we have taken proactive steps
to reduce the impact of the pandemic and protect the
health of our citizens. As a Nation, we have prepared
at all levels of government, and as individuals and
communities, taking unprecedented steps to counter
the emerging pandemic.
Nevertheless, the 2009 H1N1 pandemic continues to evolve.
The rates of illness continue to rise rapidly
within many communities across the Nation,
and the potential exists for the pandemic to
overburden health care resources in some localities.
Thus, in recognition of the continuing progression
of the pandemic, and in further preparation as a Nation,
we are taking additional steps to facilitate our response.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President
of the United States of America, by virtue
of the authority vested in me by the Constitution
and the laws of the United States, including
sections 201 and 301 of the National Emergencies
Act (50 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.) and consistent with
section 1135 of the Social Security Act (SSA),
as amended (42 U.S.C. 1320b-5), do hereby find and
proclaim that, given that the rapid increase in
illness across the Nation may overburden health
care resources and that the temporary waiver of
certain standard Federal requirements may be
warranted in order to enable U.S. health care
facilities to implement emergency operations
plans, the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic in the
United States constitutes a national emergency.
Accordingly, I hereby declare that the Secretary
may exercise the authority under section 1135
of the SSA to temporarily waive or modify certain
requirements of the Medicare, Medicaid, and State
Children's Health Insurance programs and of the
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability
Act Privacy Rule throughout the duration of the
public health emergency declared in response to
the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic.
In exercising this authority, the Secretary
shall provide certification and advance written
notice to the Congress as required by section
1135(d) of the SSA (42 U.S.C. 1320b-5(d)).
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand
this twenty-third day of October, in the year
of our Lord two thousand nine, and of the Independence
of the United States of America the two hundred
and thirty-fourth.

" THE EVIDENCE FOR A NEW DIRECTION " KATHERINE JACKSON'S BATTLE
LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) --
Katherine Jackson's battle for control of her pop star son's estate is about to take a "new direction" based on "new evidence" uncovered by the family,
a Jackson family lawyer said. Katherine Jackson,
with Michael in 2005, is challenging the appointment
of Michael's estate trustees.
The revelation came from attorney Londell McMillan,
who also corrected a report that he was one of the
lawyers Katherine Jackson replaced Thursday.
McMillan pointed to questions about the
authenticity of the signature on Michael
Jackson's will as reported this week by
celebrity gossip Web site TMZ.
Randy Jackson said his brother could not have
signed the will -- which was dated July 7, 2002,
in Los Angeles -- because he was in New York that
day, according to the TMZ report.
Until now, the Jacksons have not challenged
the will's authenticity in court. Katherine
Jackson's objections, instead, have centered
on what her lawyers said were possible conflicts
of interest by the two men named in the will as
executors. She replaced the two lawyers who were
handling the probate case Thursday with Adam
Streisand, an estate litigation lawyer whose past
clients have included the estates of Marlon
Brando and Ray Charles.
"The case is now moving in a different direction,
and the family thought it was best to bring on
Adam Streisand's law firm," McMillan said.
"The evidence precipitated the change and
the need to take it in a new direction."
Contrary to statements made at court Thursday,
McMillan was not one of the lawyers replaced,
Katherine Jackson said Friday.

Michael Jackson song mystery resolved
"Londell McMillan remains my personal
attorney and counsel, " she said in a
written statement.
"Despite false reports, he was never replaced
or terminated. "The Jackson estate is currently
controlled by John Branca and John McClain,
who would become permanent executors unless
Jackson'swill is challenged.
Katherine Jackson's legal team has asked
thata member of the Jackson family "have
a seat at the table" as a third executor.
Under the 2002 will, Michael Jackson's
three children and his mother are the chief
beneficiaries of his estate, while unnamed
charities will share in 20 percent of the
wealth.

THE WILL AND JOHN BRANCA (2)
July 7, 2002 at 5:00 PM in Los Angeles.
AND NO IT WASN'T NOTARIZED.
The two witnesses are the executors.
Today in case any of you missed it;
Randy Jackson told TMZ he has proof
MJ was in New York from July 5 through July 9
on a campaign against Sony honcho Tommy Mottola,
claiming Mottola had a thing against Black artists.
The lawyer for the estate, Howard Weitzman,
tells TMZ the witnesses to the will were face-to-face
with Jackson when he signed the document.
Weitzman would not say if the will was signed
in L.A., even though the document refers to Los Angeles.
Read more on what unfolded today:
http://www.tmz.com/category/michael-jackson/#ixzz0UdTLSeC6
BUT IS THAT REALLY WHATS GOING ON HERE?
Is there a conflict of interest?
Is the will even valid? Was the will forged?
Was it signed under duress?
With Branca and McClain being the only
witness', outside of Trusdy Green and
now running the Estate?
How can we know for sure what really
happened that day?
According to a signed document presented
by Barry Seigel, CPA he resigned of
his duties, Aug 26,2003. This leaves
Branca and McClain. and (Trudy Green)
Howard Weitzman represents Branca/McClain.
There's one important factor here that
I think they (TMZ) missed and that was the
resignation of Barry Seigel, CPA. Was
the will signed at his office in LA?
Why did he resign? What does he know?
Seigel resigned as co-Trustee of
The Michael Jackson Family Trust and
as Co-Executor of the last will of
Michael Jackson , 8/26/03.
WHAT MADE BARRY SEIGEL,CPA
RESIGN AND WALK AWAY?

Jackson Found Not Guilty
Aired June 13, 2005 - 21:00 ET
JERMAINE JACKSON: I want to talk to you in person,
so you can really -- because Tito and I got so much
to say, because we were the ones there and just really...
KING: All right.
JERMAINE JACKSON: We got something to say. We got...
KING: We'll set it up for you...
JERMAINE JACKSON: We need to talk.
KING: and Tito. And thanks so much for doing this.
JERMAINE JACKSON: Thank you, Larry.
continues:
KING: We're joined now in Santa Maria, California,
by one of Michael Jackson's closest friends and
confidantes, Majestic Magnificent, who's called
Michael's personal magician. What does a personal
magician do?
MAJESTIC MAGNIFICENT, MAGICIAN, FRIEND OF JACKSON:
That's something the press is labeling on me. I'm not
Michael's personal magician. I just happen to be a
magician from Muhammad Ali transferred to Michael.
I want to answer that question that you asked everybody
else. I had no doubt whatsoever that Michael would be
acquitted on all the charges. Neither did Michael.
From the very beginning, he said over and over again,
justice will prevail and I will be acquitted and you
will see, I'm innocent.
KING: So, are you saying, Majestic, then, this morning,
when you got up, you weren't worried at all?
MAJESTIC MAGNIFICENT: Not even a little bit,
because I know his character. I know he would not hurt
a child, and if justice is going to be fair, not like
-- not unlike these tabloids shows. You're a credible
journalist, but these people like Nancy Grace, Diane
Dimond, all these people trying Michael in the press,
that is not in courtroom. It's the normal people and
the jurors that make the decision. That's how I knew
he was going to be acquitted.
KING: How's the family doing?
MAJESTIC MAGNIFICENT: Great, wonderful. I just spoke to
Randy, everybody enjoying the moment of happiness and
they all together and having this like, hey, it's over,
and Michael will be making music. He will be singing.
He will be dancing. You know, can't nobody do what Michael
do on a stage. So, people say, he can't make a comeback
and all this. He never been nowhere. Ya'll just -- they
just tied him up for a while.
KING: So you're saying he's coming back?
MAJESTIC MAGNIFICENT: Oh my god. Can you --
name somebody who can sing and dance like
Michael, Larry. Of course the world want to see that.
KING: Did you talk to him today?
MAJESTIC MAGNIFICENT: No, I haven't.
I just spoke to Randy today.
KING: When are you going to see him?
MAJESTIC MAGNIFICENT:Probably this week some time.
I'm going over there --I am sure there's going to
be something in the next couple -- coming days.
I'll probably go out to the ranch sometime.
KING: Thank you, Majestic. Always good seeing you.
Majestic Magnificent.

LA COUNTY CORONERS' CONTINUES
I WANT TO GO BACK TO SOMETHING
BECAUSE I FEEL ITS RATHER IMPORTANT
TO TAKE A FURTHER LOOK AT THIS
Im going to share some pictures that were taken
and if that helps get to the bottom of the coroner's
van situation. Great. I hope it gives insight.
8/26 apprx. 3:30pm PST LA County Coroners
Alot of the the vans are parked around the front
The main entrance is 1104 N. Mission Road
The grounds are rather large There is all kinds of
windy streets that go back aroundside this place
next to it sits a old landmark Hospital.
It took awhile but i was determined to locate the
van w/ the same license plates.I figured my chances
were slim but i'd see what happens. The vans are
all parked backing in so the back of the vans all
face the street.atleast thats how it was that day.
I know there has been some questions about what
was taped onto the back of the Van (plate)
on this video you can see the guy doing something.
If you look closely between 6:30-6:35 something
was done to the back.
In these pictures you can see what appears to be a
lock like component underneath the license plate
maybe he closed that, if they need to switch out the
plates or something I dont know but have a look..
they were at UCLA preparing to transport MJ's body
to LA coroners.
I've included the video and the pictures will follow.
I would like to know why Geraldo had Motolla on
the phone That's abit odd being that MJ despised him.

THE BRICK MAN
Barnum knew the power of mystery. An unemployed
man came to his museum and asked Barnum for a job.
Barnum handed the man five bricks and instructed
him to solemnly place the bricks in various places
around the outside of the museum. As he went from
spot to spot, he was to replace the brick at each
spot with another one that he was carrying. He was
to answer no questions, speak to no one, and seem
to be deaf and dumb. Once an hour, he was to enter
the museum, walk right next to the ticket taker,
seem to pay the fee, and then proceed through the
museum and out the door. A crowd began to form,
watching the man and wondering what he was doing.
Many of the crowds followed him into the museum
just to see what was going on. In fact, the police
had to ask Barnum to stop the man, because the
crowds that he was creating were stopping traffic.
